  Just wanted to know if someone here have some feedback from those 3 devices. Wich one is "better" and why ? I know it should differ for different usage, I'm more on the Pro or X1 device for their keyboard but I wonder how devices GUI are (the touch flow is pretty nice on the diamond, for the Pro is the same ? pannels looks nice on the X1 are they really smooth and cool to use ? what about the samsung GUI ?) and I'm also curious about real battery life in everyday life...

  If anyone has some tips on how to choose between those devices...... Thanks!

 I've played with the Omnia, and I've owned both the X1 and the Touch Pro. My personal favourite of the three is the Touch Pro.

The Omnia was nice enough, but the screen res and the optical pad really let it down for me. Having used the Diamond before it the Omnia seemed too big considering it had a poorer screen res. The internal storage is a decent size, but again I'd rather have an SD slot. I'd have the Diamond over the Omnia any day. I've heard battery life on the Omnia is very average.

The X1 is very nice looking, lovely form factor. It feels nicely balanced and the screen is very nice. I wasn't keen on the keyboard, I found it a bit spongey and the screen is not flush, it has a slight recess and that really annoyed me. It made certain finger strokes really difficult. The panels thing was quite cool, but ultimately a gimmick. After a couple of days I found I just stuck to the Mobile Shell panel and that was it. Battery life was excellent though. Easily got 2 days from it, sometimes 3.

The Touch Pro's worst attributes in my opinion was its bulk. Although it's not that much bigger or heavier than the X1 it feels chunky in the hand. Other than that it's excellent. Lovely screen, excellent Touch interface and general good performance. I thought the keyboard was awesome on it. If I was buying a device right now (i.e. before the next gen arrives) I'd get the Touch Pro. Battery life was ok, 1 to 2 days.

I really like the X1 design and battery but I was more on the HTC device (because I have the diamond today so....).

I'll wait a little to see if there are some other comments here but I may jump for the HTC

I will agree with Dave...Omnia is nice but the res let me down...X1 is nice...but the only thing I didnt like was the recessed screen collects dust easily..Touch Pro is great! Since u have the Diamond...Touch Pro would be great for u..uless you go to the Diamond 2 or Touch Pro 2. I'm nit buying a new device until June

Your validation is in, but I don't see that we have gotten a device selection from you yet. I love my HTC Fuze (the Touch Pro), and the Xperia X1 looks nice too. Tough choice!

I haven't gotten to play with the Xperia yet.

  @Andrea : I'll take the HTC Touch Pro, I think it will feet better my needs! and this will makes me ready for the day the pro2 will be available at a correct price in france (by the end of the year when I'll have 1 more year of contract with my carrier)

Don't worry I will make a small "end-user comparison" because some clients here asked me about this when I told them I may get a Pro after my Diamond (was before the challenge started). Since it's for a corporate contract, they hesitate between the 2 devices (HTC Diamond vs. Pro) but the choice was reported because of something called "crisis" (report mean maybe they will take the D2 or the Pro2 or another device...) I will post this whole story on the appropriate thread later next week
