Ok...not that I have used my AT&T Pure for a while....here are my issues....

1. I noticed that by default in the setting advanced tab, that the Reject call with Text Message is checked. Does this REALLY work??

No one that has called me said they got a text msg when I rejected a call. I do know that the other 3 checked items work
  a. add new phone number to contacts at end of call
  b. Vibrate device when call is connected
  c. Open Notes when stylus is pulled out during a call.

2. I have the little ballon and the number 1 over the txt msg icon at the bottom and have no txt msg. whats the deal with that! ( I have done a soft reset, and even though I use MS My Phone, I really do not want to do a hard reset on my device.)

3. Under the system icon the AT&T Software Updates - Does that REALLY work also or just vaporware for now. every time I use it, it tells me there is an update but when I click yes...soon I get a txt msg. that tells me it cannot connect to the server....

Overall I really like the Pure and WP..but I'm getting a little annoyed with the txt bubble. Man I Need the HD2 with US 3G SOOOON!

I am not sure how that Reject call gets started because when I select to ignore a call it goes to voice mail - so No , it doesn't work.

On which screen is this balloon? Can you not go to the Email program, select SMS/MMS account and delete your text messages from there.

 My biggest peeve is the power button. If the device is lying on my desk, I have to pick it up and use both hands to power it on.

My next biggest peeve is the Answer/Ignore call sliding button - I often slide it the wrong way.

The slider menu of the TouchFlo - across the bottom that is where the little bubble is that indicates the number of txt msg. it is stuck on one. I have gone into the inbox of the txt msg. and it is empty, as well as the sent, drafts and deleted, but is even show (1) msg. in the inbox when it is empty.

While on that screen - select Menu, Delete.

Well..................... That's weird .......but you knew that.

LOL yea I did...its fixed now....I went ahead and re-flashed the phone with the OEM ROM from HTC website....All is back to normal for now...

My reject a call with a text message works. You just have to hit "send text" not ignore. When you hit "send text" it rejects the call and sends the text.

I only get the choice - Answer/Ignore. 

Even at the bottom right hand corner? The option doesnt really stick out when a call is incoming. Mine sits in the right hand corner below my anser/ignore slider and mute ring.

I see it now - Thanks - though it doesn't work for me as I have my calls forwarded to another phone if this one doesn't pick up.

Yes when you are receiving a call it says 'send text' in the bottom right corner on wm 6.5 on the touch pro 2 sprint.

 Question: Anyone know how to change this default text?!?! it comes off a little harsh and i would like it to say something different, a few of my friends actually thought i was upset with them after reading the default text.

Go to Start, Settings, Personal, Phone, click on the Advanced tab - here you can select to reject the call with a text message and specify what you want that message to be.

Great little tip, Laura! On my AT&T Pure with 6.5, it was impossible to see that there was an Advanced tab - I had to tap with the stylus several times to scroll over. But once you're there, you can do a lot on the Advanced tab - I noticed that you can also enable editing of the rejection message for each call if you want, or set one particular message and auto-send it without editing.
