mitul patel:
i had recently changed my storage card to 4 gb. but my mobile TyTn II is not creating any root directory in the storage card!!!!
You will need to make your own folders on the card. WM devices are computers not phones. Phones will make the folders it can support on your card when you first install the card. WM devices like computers allow you to make folders for whatever you need. Open your memory card in file explorer the hold your stylu down until the circle is done and the new window opens. At the bottom of that window is a "new folder" touch it and there ya go. Hope this helps.

Mitul, were you ever able to solve this problem? I just had a "duh" moment when I was looking at your post again: If I'm not mistaken, the TyTN 2 may not fully support SD card capacities of 2GB or greater, since it uses an older standard for storage. For best compatibility at 2GB or higher, the device should support SDHC, a newer high-capacity standard that allows for cards up to 32GB... (Experts, please correct me if I'm wrong. I couldn't find the specifics on what exactly the TyTN 2 supports.) Have you used a 1GB or 2GB card in your TyTN 2 successfully? If so, this could be the issue.

My AT&T Tilt (a TyTn II) has an 8GB microSDHC card "ridin' shotgun" right now. It supports both SD and SDHC cards.
What I have found as a problem is that lots of card readers, particularly older ones, don't properly format HC cards, so formatting it on a PC with an older reader might have messed up the card's formatting. I have three readers and only one "likes" my 8GB card.
