Here is a nice free app I found over at Freeware. It lets you send group SMS this is great for when I need to communicate to a group of people with the same message. Click here for details

I thought this was "native" on windows mobile...I rarely send group sms but last time I did I did'nt setup any application...

You can send an SMS to multiple people natively but this app lets you set up a group and then send an SMS to that group. Just makes it a lot quicker and easier.

Just make sure that when you send the message , it's at a reasonable time based on everyone's timezone ! I have a friend who sends out group text messages, without any regard of time of day. I think people forget that the phone makes a noise when you receive a text, and if you have your phone by your bed and it's early in the morning, it's just as disturbing as a phone call.

Don't have this kind of timezone problem here but for sure got some "night sms" sometimes...
Is there a way to have "contact group notification for sms" on winmo ? I know you can customize the ringtones for contacts, but for sms ?
