Our good friend Adam Z Lein of Pocketnow.com has just posted a great little how-to on using the Calendar application in Windows Mobile to invite almost anyone - not just people who use Outlook - to an appointment. A teaser:
There's "a nice little feature in Windows Mobile where you can send “Meeting Requests” to people. When the recipients receive the Meeting Request in their email,
all they have to do is click the “Accept” button and the meeting will
automatically load into their calendar (depending on what type of email
client they are using). ... This works best with Windows Mobile, Outlook, Entourage, Outlook Web
Access for Exchange, and Blackberries. It does not work so well with
Windows Live Mail Desktop or Hotmail"
Cool! Thanks, Adam. Check out the complete article.
